Hello and welcome to the post where i talk about how i completely failed at acquiring the best body i could ever have.,., LOL.,.,
3 months ago i got hold of a copy of p90x. It's a workout routine designed to make your body be in the best shape it could ever be., However, it was originally designed for people who are overweight, and need to lose fat. I wasn't in that category.,. You see., I'm so skinny and what made me try p90x is the claim of some people that if a skinny guy does it., he will eventually develop muscle..,
Don't worry though, it worked a little., =]
I'll just highlight the part where i think positive improvements were satisfactorily evident.,XD and that's my observation regarding my back., =] **see picture*
I like how after 90 days i could already do 8 honest pull-ups for each kind of pull-up technique (reverse grip, wide-front, corncob, and close grip overhand). I say honest coz during the first few weeks i was using my feet to lift myself off the ground. *facepalm* This number still falls under the noob category. as the instructors in the video could do 25+ without breaking a sweat.,
and, although there isn't really much muscle improvement, my back now looks way more toned and muscular (?) than the back i had when i started p90x.. too bad I hadn't anticipated that my back was the one which will manifest the results. If i had known, i would have taken a 'before picture' of it.
Several factors contributed to the Failness I've experienced:
number 1 would most probably be the lack of a diet plan. =] As i soon figured out after the 90 days. What you eat during the workout would really affect how things turn out.,. a good body is made in the kitchen, not in the gym. =]
**my tired face after the legs and back routine ->>> LOL*
number 2 would be the absence of a coach. I thought i could do it alone, but it really helps that you have someone to yell at you during times when you're too tired to do the last few reps. I almost always end up not meeting the required number of reps and here's the worse part, -I skip routines! especially AB RIPPER X!
number 3 would be the lack of sleep. Academic projects keep me awake most of the time., and that being the case. I would sometimes be too tired to do the routine scheduled for the following day. Hence, i skip some of the routines.
As i go for "Trying again", i keep in mind that i must correct these errors first before engaging into any type of workout.
I actually imagined that my 90th day picture would be taken somewhere inside an awesome gym.,, but since I cannot afford to be in one., I pardon that the pictures I posted is taken from my room.,., where i also do the workout.,
Here's my 18th day pic if you're interested.,
