First First Love

Before anything else mistress Melina , my sincerest apologies for putting you through a lot  of hassle regarding my profession at Althalos County.

for the past month, I've been truly critical about myself and about the choices that I'll be  making... It wasn't until last night that I reconciled myself with the fact that I can't go out of Maiden Way Plains yet.

Although, I do not wish to explain any further, i feel the need to do justice to your
unrelenting effort in sending me your carrier pigeons at random days to update me about my acceptance into the Order of Shadowmere.
I really appreciate the effort btw, it's awesome.


Going through four bloody years at Westminster in a degree focused on Elemental Sorcery opened my consciousness and made me assess myself as not ready to hold any
sort of position in your prestigious order yet. Finding out about certain realities like,
the whole story of how the War of the Roses came to shape our current society and how it made everything evolve so swiftly, the Battle of Marson Moor,
the conquests of the League of Augsburg, The Pentland uprising - - -
all these events awakened me to the reality that
there's still a great deal of things that I need to understand, have and develop if I wanna survive,
even just barely, the demands of these times. I was surprised to have identified a lot
about myself that I need to work on before being worthy of the invite given by your esteemed Order.

Adding to this personal assessment, are circumstantial reasons. Some of which I already
shared with you (through your pigeon.,XD)... My mother will be left alone if ever I decide to head for Althalos and render service to the Order. This is something that my brother and I cannot ignore when making decisions. There are as well other personal concerns that I wish not to disclose.

At present, I haven't yet gotten any formal response from the Fellowship I'm trying to get myself into here in Maiden Way Plains. But I wouldn't wanna add to the hassle you're already experiencing because of me. So please give the slot you've guarded for me to someone else.

In my end, I just hope that Shadowmere's doors would still be open if ever at a later time I find myself ready and able to be an asset to the Order... Until then know that I am doing my best at life...

Just do whatever you think will be best for your life. If this may not be the path for you, maybe there's another road that you'll take. Let the Oracle guide you... Soon you'll know.
