of friendship, they were never wrong,
it really is the truth,
that though society's a set of teeth
each one is still a tooth.

We ride on people's company,
as if they'll be around
when life gets mad and then decides,
to pound us to the ground.

we pass the blame when we're ashamed
of reckless things we do,
forgetting that the fault is ours,
staying blind to what is true.

Sometimes it even is the case
that the weight of problems double,
coz instead of finding a remedy
we seek a friend to trouble.

and when we crumble down
we find it easy to just kneel,
and pray our hearts out asking help
from something that ain't real

never share to friends the burdens
you wouldn't wanna receive,
share instead the love
in happy thoughts you can conceive

for while it's certain that difficult times
tell which of them are true,
happy moments, the ones cherished,
bind these souls like glue

so alone, trod through these rain-soaked streets
the avenue for meditation,
and for now just be glad, to have as witness
the sight of your own reflection

for at the end of the walk where fields are green,
and all the clouds are clear,
the colors you've witnessed along the way
are the things we wanna hear.

oh my god!!! I appended my name into an article so obscure!!! → *i don't know what this means, it just sounded fancy*. But.... yeah, my first ever poem which was inspired by a painting. =]

i personally get my 'what the F are you talking about' facial expression on, whenever i would hear people saying that a particular painting inspired them to write something. And whad'ya know.,.,here I am being a hypocrite to my own past feelings.,haha... Literature classes give some of the most screwed up tasks..,., check out how i was made to dress up as THESSEUS the duke of aMidSummerNight'sDream-ville here!i forgot what the place was actually called).

While you're at it,
please give some love to my youtube channel here: click this for world peace

please hit like and favorite my first video coz it'll make you look sexy. Share it to someone you know who likes to remix songs as well.,., =]

and oh i finally know what my blood type is.,.,

thing running on my head when the nurse gave me my result.XD
but we have a pretty good week ahead of us guys, let's celebrate the chance of improving our lives by drinking another 5 cups of coffee and coding all night and being alone in front of you laptop blaming your school for having teachers that don't teach saying a randomly timed "I love you" to the persons nearest you... even if they're not your friends.,.,

i just woke up from a 17 hour sleep - processing what happened in my SE class

in the year 1900, president teddy roosevelt sent a letter to america saying that the PIANO is ruining music. coz everybody's playing the guitar and the piano was still new (so for them it sounded different). that didn't stop people from LIKING the PIANO.

i want a passing grade (75) and a shot at the softwareFest, i need a collection of opinions to be convinced that our game isn't worthy, not just yours.. i'm sticking with my piano.,

and while i'm at it, i don't rebut a person's argument by presenting another argument. I take what they've said and scrutinize the illogicality of it's thought. Thus, i'm still waiting for what you have to say about the software we're using, coz just before dismissal time, all that came out from you was your "love for your course"(so don't compare yourself with people coming from other courses) and how "everything in the real world is about code(so we don't need the software for the purpose of rendering the images in a way that it'll look professional)".

If my teacher gives me permission to discuss these things with her, in the most ethical of manners, it would be my pleasure. But i want it to be in front of the whole class when we're telling each other straight. For two reasons, (1) to clarify people's notion of the said professor in being biased 'AGAINST' our group and 'FOR' specific groups also involved with making the project and (2) to prevent the spread of different versions (rumors) of what really happened since doing the discussion in front of the class would already allow everyone directly involved with the issue to have a firsthand experience of it, reducing the instances of people in the same class asking about what happened.

First some observed contradictions:

~"you know class, maski black and white lang na mga stick figures ang interface ayos na"
in contradiction with
~"you know kasi class, if poor yung interface niyo, it would lead people to think na poor yung product niyo"

to interpret the lines would be self explanatory. The thing is to make the project, bearing these two contradicting things in mind makes every choice regarding the project a level higher difficult. especially that, upon abiding with the first, the bias of the second would take effect, and in abiding with the second, the sum of our skills as a group cannot produce anything of significance if forced to stay with the language my professor favors. namely, flash. which brings me to my own defense of why we used the language.

Software Engineering:
A Practitioner's Approach, 6/e
CHAPTER 5: SLIDE NUMBER 19
2ND and 3RD bullets

"pick a programming language that meets the needs of the software to be built and the environment in which it would operate. Select a programming language that will make your work easier."

need i say more?

Here's the thing. first, if one would judge the product GameMaker, by solely relying on the advertisements, one is mislead, coz as taught in the technopreneurship class i enrolled in as well as in the business management class me and my batchmate's we're in during the second year in college, sellers of these products try to convince everyone that what they sell is EASY, is LIGHTWEIGHT, is AUTOMATIC, is BETTER-SMELLING, is 3-IN-1, is all of these non-sense that aren't even true... IN ORDER FOR IT TOO SELL.

Second, we are talking about SOFTWARE FESTIVAL here. This is not an activity to hold just for the purpose of passing the course .The department would be broadcasting itself open to all of the people in the university and it is but proper to have programs in that event to be of best caliber. The vision is to remove the 'lapa man baga - boring' impression in most of the people that try and visit the booths in the softFest coz it's gonna hurt us IT's. The worst scenario i could fathom is that "we are all extremely enjoying and celebrating in the softFest...but just among ourselves". That's not nice, the class has forgotten the "COMMON GOAL", which is to "pull off the best software festival ever", and replaced it with "my group needs to win". '.What we produce, others will consume.', and it would be to an extent, stupid, if the only ones consuming what we've produced are ourselves. This is change happening, and this is us reacting to change...

"Quality Focus" - this is what we strive for, and the same course material puts more emphasis on this one rather than the "production tools". Reality check, output is everything. you don't present a product to any client explaining it's features like

"you see madam, when x == 0 it would call this function and read the input...blahbidyblah"

you say...

"when you click this button madam, it gives you a list of names"

if there's one thing that my professor accomplished it's the destuction of our group's morale... i hope the healing process starts soon.

drunk blogging...

224 comment(s)

They say that failure to sleep for a day, or roughly staying up for more than 18 hours will level one's hand-eye coordination as well as reflex reaction and critical thinking to that of a drunk man. So vaguely I'm drunk right now, just not under the influence of alcohol.

I didn't mean not to sleep, it's just that i got engrossed at doing the cover of Hatsune miku's celluloid. Well it wasn't really a cover, wikipedia says that for something, say a song, to qualify as a cover of an original, it has to sound precisely like the original using the same instruments that the original used. Any alteration should only be in the vocals. And that's cruel. Luckily there exists this unspoken code of conduct among the entire human race that any attempt to recreate any song would already qualify as a cover for that particular song. Hurray for unwritten agreements among men!!! Which i why i think it's proper to say that i gave up sleep to do a cover for a song.

This song was unique in so many levels. The harmony, the melody, even the chord progressions were alien to me, but i have this feel of it that it sounded good, though it was kinda murdered coz it did not sound close to the original... anyway it was still a cover, leave me alone wikipedia!!!..,, =]

cosplayers multiplied in number ever since alodia started airing at various programs in television. Or maybe they were really plenty to start with, only that alodia's fame was needed for them to go outside of their shells and showcase anime-ity to the wurld. This for me is a double win situation. back then I never thought that we would buy water granted that 75% of the world is H2O, just as i never thought that i'll be sseing so many anime-ish people roaming around at malls and restaurants and even at downtown centro and being normal despite the fact that the norm is dissident to accepting this kind of art. Even my mother has her issues regarding cosplayers coloring their hair..,., First win, i like anime and seeing their human counterparts practically everyday is the best stress reliever next to coffee.,., =] .,. Second win is that, anime really is an ideal i wish to look up to (leave me alone wikipedia!!!) ., LoL.,When i am in my most vulnerable hours (like when i'm drunk from not sleeping) i kinda enter into a trance where when i'm in it, I remember all of my hopes and dreams (which will cease to exist after I get some sleep) some of which are connected or have been in one way or another inspired by anime.

Further than Recent, I've finished watching season two of K-ON.. or simply K-ON!! with those distinguished double punctuation marks. I like.,., or perhaps the right word is i ENVY so much the friendship those five lead characters hold so dear to them. I got unlucky in friendship just a while back, it was maybe in my second year of college when the my peers and i got into a misunderstanding. Actually i was in the peacemaker side, watching two opposing forces clash against each other. But, i failed to take into consideration that being in the middle would give you inevitable vulnerability in taking the the doubts both sides have on you, unless one can handle peacemaking well, one is ok,,,, but at that particular instance, i failed... i not only failed, i sucked at it... enough reason for things to go out of hand and guess what, like the double punctuation in K-ON!! the tables were turned and all of them were against me. The peacemaker.,.,., is now the person everybody hates. up to now i still can't figure out why it had to happen, i guess i needed to learn some lessons but as from where i am now, in a state of having learned some of the lessons, i could clearly say that i could've learned without losing the persons who were everything to me... ooops.,., reality check, ^you're losing it neithan, calm down^ **breathes*.,,

I still believe i can find a K-ON group of my own,,, a group that i could exist with, somewhere that i'll not have to do anything clever to know i'm wanted. I'll find that group, and ..... and.,., fudge,, i'm hungry.,., i need to eat breakfast.,,,., ***yawn*, i've finished uploading the video.,..,so i think it's high time to get some shut eye.,,..,thanks for always being open bloggy..,, find me some friends soon oK? g'nyt.,.,
